Known by some visitors as the "Castle in the Desert," Whiskey Pete's is located 48 miles southwest of the Las Vegas Strip on the California/Nevada state line and across the street from the Primm Valley Resort and Casino. Legend has it Whiskey Pete himself is buried in the area and watches over the property.
Whiskey Pete's has more than 750 rooms, which include a two-person, oval tub with spa jets in one of several 600-square-foot mini-suites or a four-person spa set in an over-sized bathroom in one of the four 725-square-foot Jacuzzi suites.
Did you know that you can see the original Bonnie and Clyde "death car" and other infamous memorabilia at Whiskey Pete's? The couple lead police on a nationwide chase which ended in 1934 when Louisiana officials riddled the car with bullets, ending the saga and their lives.
