Requests for Personnel

Requests for personnel should be made in writing a minimum of 30-45 days in advance of the service date to help insure adequate staffing will be available. Last minute requests will be accepted on a case by case basis pending staff availability. Requests can be faxed, E-mailed or mailed to the Registration Office. Please note that a minimum of one Supervisor is required on every convention. When assigning personnel for a convention, it is LVCVA registration policy to schedule the same person in one position for the duration of the show where possible.

To help process your request we will need the following information:

• Specific location of event (facility / room name or room number)
• Billing information (w/ phone & fax numbers)
• Onsite contact information including cell phone number if available
• Dates (event dates and dates needing service)
• Staffing hours needed and number of staff required
• Brief description of the duties to be performed
• Number of projected attendees
• Number of projected room block

Work shifts

The minimum work shift schedule is four (4) hours; eight (8) hour shifts are the recommended maximum work limits. Work shifts over eight (8) hours per day or a forty (40) hour work week (Sunday-Saturday) are considered overtime and subject to time and one-half payable by the Organization.

Special Note: A minimum 48-hour notice is required for any changes or cancellations, otherwise a minimum four (4) hour charge will be incurred per person.

Invoicing

Your organization will be invoiced for the registration service personnel approximately seven to ten business days following the conclusion of your convention.

Parking Charges

Parking charges for registration personnel at sites other than the Las Vegas Convention Center and Cashman Center must be paid by the Organization, if applicable.
