The Core Arena at the Plaza Hotel & Casino is the first and only permanent outdoor equestrian center in downtown Las Vegas. Paying homage to Vegas’ western roots, the Core Arena features two outdoor arenas for roping practice and exercise as well as onsite equine stalls, making it easy for rodeo fans and participants to “kiss their horses goodnight”. Beyond the rodeo, the Core Arena is a multipurpose facility that can host a variety of outdoor events, diversifying the downtown experience and attracting more business and people to downtown Las Vegas year-round. The arena has 80 permanent stalls for year round purposes and the spectator capacity is 3,000.
