Las Vegas Convention and Meeting Registration Services
Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority Registration Services has been providing supplemental registration staff to meeting and convention clients throughout the Las Vegas valley for more than 50 years. Our staff is comprised of skilled, uniformed professionals who are true Ambassadors, promoting our destination. The pool of approximately 300 intermittent, on-call employees, service 225 + events annually. Approximately 80% of the assignments are corporate events and tradeshows held outside the Las Vegas Convention Center, in our hotels, conference centers, as well as at the Sands Expo and Mandalay Bay Convention Center. :

Requests for Personnel
Registration staff is available for hire 7 days a week, including most holidays. Requests for personnel should be made in writing a minimum of 45 days in advance of the service date to help ensure adequate staffing will be available. Last minute requests will be accepted on a case by case basis pending staff availability. Requests can be faxed, E-mailed or mailed to the Registration Office. Please note that a minimum of one Supervisor is required throughout the duration of every event. When assigning personnel for an event, it is LVCVA registration policy to schedule the same person in one position for the duration of the show where possible.
To help process your request we will need the following information:
- Specific location of event (facility / room name or room number)
- Billing information (w/ phone & fax numbers)
- Onsite contact information including cell phone number if available
- Dates (event dates and dates needing service)
- Staffing hours needed and number of staff required
- Brief description of the duties to be performed
- Number of projected attendees
- Number of projected room block
The minimum work shift schedule is four (4) hours; eight (8) hour shifts are the recommended maximum work limits. Work shifts over eight (8) hours per day or a forty (40) hour work week (Sunday-Saturday) are considered overtime and subject to time and one-half payable by the Organization.
Special Note: A minimum 48-hour notice is required for any changes or cancellations, otherwise a minimum four (4) hour charge will be incurred per person.
Your organization will be invoiced for the registration service personnel approximately ten to fourteen business days following the conclusion of your convention. Invoices must be paid within 30 days to avoid late fees.
Parking charges for registration personnel at sites other than the Las Vegas Convention Center must be paid by the Organization, if applicable.
