Las Vegas is the epicenter of incredible, transformative business meetings, connectivity and growth. It’s the ideal destination for business events, corporate gatherings and professional meetings of all types, and you’re about to experience it all firsthand.
From world-class dining and entertainment to exciting outdoor adventures and cultural attractions, to unbeatable nightlife and fun team-building activities in Las Vegas, there’s something for everyone in this vibrant destination.
As you prepare for your upcoming conference, glean insights on how to prepare and take advantage of all that the destination has to offer.
Book Your Vegas Room and Flight Early
Once you’ve registered for your conference, it’s time to book your accommodations and airfare, and it’s best to do so early, as both can fill up quickly during peak times throughout the year. Keep an eye on our convention calendar to see when larger shows are happening, and plan accordingly to ensure you can book the rooms and flights you desire.
With the Harry Reid International Airport a mere three miles from the Las Vegas Strip, transportation is a breeze once you arrive. Consider using the Las Vegas Monorail, which has seven stations and stops along the Strip, or the Vegas Loop at Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), which has four stops within the convention center, plus stops at Resorts World Las Vegas, Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, Encore Resort at Wynn Las Vegas and a brand-new station at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. The new terminal at Fontainebleau is the first Las Vegas resort to offer complimentary Loop transportation for guests, providing free, seamless travel to all four Las Vegas Convention Center station terminals.
And if you stay at a resort on the Strip, there are tons of attractions, dining and things to do within walking distance. If you know of others from your network who are attending the same Las Vegas conference, or if your clients will be present, reach out and prearrange meetups to maximize your time together.
Note: If your event is held at LVCC’s main campus, things may look a little different than the last time you were here. The facility recently completed a massive $600 million campus expansion project. Key enhancements include a more modern architecture and design, advanced technologies, and improvements in sustainability and efficiency that will elevate every guest’s experience. If your event is held anywhere within the LVCC, download the LVCC Wayfinding app available on App Store and Google Play for helpful information.
Post-conference Dining in Las Vegas
Challenge yourself to attend as many networking events and gatherings as you can that are offered by the conference organizers. Or keep the conversation going by inviting colleagues or new connections to dinner or drinks. You’ll also find on-site meeting places in Las Vegas resorts to continue the conversation.
