1. Top convention centers

Las Vegas has more than 15 million square feet of meeting, convention and exhibit space. The destination is equipped to handle any group event of any size.

Three of the country’s 10 largest convention venues are in Las Vegas:

Las Vegas Convention Center: Approximately 2.9 million square feet of exhibit space and nearly 400,000 square feet of additional dedicated meeting space.

The LVCC recently completed a massive $600 million renovation to its legacy campus, delivering a world-class experience that is synonymous with Las Vegas.

Key enhancements include:

  •  Modernized design with contemporary interiors and improved natural light

  •  Upgraded connectivity and digital capabilities

  •  Sustainable efforts designed to reduce long-term operating costs and environmental impact

Mandalay Bay Convention Center: More than 2 million square feet of meeting and exhibit space.

The Venetian Expo: features over 2.25 million square feet of featured event space for any occasion.

Other major hotels and property groups offer spaces for meetings and exhibitions that can accommodate groups of all sizes as well. Caesars Forum features the 100,000-square-foot Forum Plaza exclusively for outdoor events, and provides direct access to more than 10,000 guestrooms and suites. The possibilities for your event are endless.

2. Convenient air and ground transit

Harry Reid International Airport offers more than 1,100 inbound and outbound flights daily and direct service from 165 U.S. and international cities. It’s just two miles from Las Vegas Boulevard and 3.5 miles from the Las Vegas Convention Center. In fact, most of Las Vegas’ over 150,000 hotel rooms are within a 15-minute drive. Major air carriers have even been known to add service in support of the largest Las Vegas conventions, such as CES.

The Las Vegas Convention Center Loop provides free, fast and convenient transportation for attendees across the LVCC through a fleet of Teslas, connecting the legacy campus with the West Hall. These underground tunnels are designed to transport more than 4,400 people an hour. The typical walk time between the West Hall to South Hall can be up to 25 minutes––the same trip on the Vegas Loop at Las Vegas Convention Center  happens in about two.

3. Onsite meeting and event spaces

For stand-alone activities, small conferences, business meetings, banquets and other group events, Las Vegas’ resorts also offer ample space and configurable venues to suit every need.

Resort property groups like  MGM Resorts International, Caesars Entertainment, Venetian Resort Las Vegas  and Wynn Las Vegas have the unique ability to book multiple properties and venues with a single contract.

Resorts World Las Vegas is a three-hotel combination that offers more than 350,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space and Virgin Hotels Las Vegas features 130,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.

Global hospitality brands like Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt also operate major hotels, or have partnerships with resorts that do, to accommodate loyalty programs, or a preferred supplier.

Downtown—where the glitz of Las Vegas originated—offers a great value. The close proximity of downtown hotels makes getting attendees around a breeze. The area is compact, entertaining and walkable.

Several downtown properties offer ample meeting and banquet space, including Binion’s Gambling Hall, Circa Resort & Casino, Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino, and the Golden Nugget.

4. Celebrity chefs and group dining venues

Maggiano’s Little Italy at Fashion Show offers shareable portions and a diverse menu of Italian American offerings that cater to every palate. For larger events, its party-sized pans are perfect for carryout or catering, feeding groups of eight to 20 with ease. Maggiano’s banquet spaces are ideal for hosting small to large corporate meetings.

PT’s Wings & Sports at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower can host up to 200 and offers full buyouts for larger groups. This lively sports bar is a great option for casual group dining.

Additionally, a 2024 visitor profile study found that 47% of corporate meeting and convention attendees said they were more interested in attending events because they were held in Las Vegas.
